Bulk booking for search results
You can now do bulk booking directly from the inspection list, which is also where we show search results. So if you wish to do booking of a specific PO, it is now very easy:

This allows you to select inspection types and enter the booking date in a very simple way. If you need to provide more details, you can always click the Booking button as well.
Test checkpoints
Qarma has built-in AQL support which provides information about sample size and the acceptable number of defects. In some cases, you may have certain tests that are not carried out for the full sample size but only a subset. This could be functional tests, assembly of furniture, drop tests etc. You can now define those types of tests as checkpoints with built-in information about sample size and acceptable number of defects.
In the checklist editor, select the Test checkpoint type:

Once selected, you can now enter the details. In this example we want to make sure always to assembly 5 pieces and allow no defected pieces:

You could also select an AQL protocol for this as well, in which case the system will automatically calculate the rest based on the order qty.
When performing the inspection, you will be able to select how many pieces failed the test:

If we select 2, for example, the checkpoint will automatically fail, and you can see this is due to the failed test:

When reviewing the inspection results before submitting, this information is also visible together with the defect summary:

And of course the report will hold this information as well in the summary, so it’s easy to review any failed tests.

Tightened AQL
Qarma now supports a new AQL table for tightened inspections in addition to the Normal table that has been supported previously. Please reach out to [email protected] if you would like to get this or other AQL configurations added to your account.
If you want to learn more about AQL, please check our blog post on the topic.
Permissions for users to edit own data
To provide better control of user data like name and email, we have now included a role setting which can be turned off if you want to remove the option for users to Edit own profile information.

The users will still be able to reset their password, but change of name and email will be forbidden. The default setting for this is ON, so you need to remove the checkmark to restrict users from making changes.
Functional defects
In some industries, a separate type of defect has traditionally been employed to mark any functional issue with the product. To support this, Qarma has extended the minor, major and critical defects with functional defects.
It has it’s own AQL limits and separate reporting, just as the others.
This is not the standard Qarma configuration, so if you would like to employ it, please reach out to [email protected].
